Your Questions, Answered

  • We work with the team to write Behavioral Plans (also known as BTPs or Behavioral Treatment Plans) tailored to each member. We also handle renewals, train Group Home Managers on the plans, and help guide Group Home Managers through Peer Review Committee meetings.

We are also available at an hourly rate to review and give feedback on plans others present.

  • You can see our basic pricing under Services, but please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs and our pricing.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or give us a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • We start out by gathering important documents related to the member such as their PCSPs, past Behavioral Plans, Incident Reports, etc.

Then we reach out and talk to all of the members of the team individually to gather each person’s specific intel and answer their questions about the process. We also visit the Member at their Group Home or DTA so we can get to know them directly as well.

After, the group meets on video calls to develop the plan and talk through what makes that Member tick individually. Updates of the plan are sent in between meetings to ensure that feedback can be given.

Once completed, we send off for signatures, make any last minute updates, request information, and send the completed packet off to the Peer Review Committee (PRC) to review.

We also handle all recommended changes to the plan by the PRC disposition and resubmitting the plan for final approval.

  • One of the things that For the Members offers that’s different from other Behavioral Plan writers is to stay with the Member throughout the year.

For most members, this is attending PCSPs to get those quarterly updates with the rest of the team. At these moments, we gather all tracking data, look for trends, and things that may need to be updated on the plan so things continue to work more smoothly as the year progresses.

Being there to learn about all the appointments and challenges throughout the year, also makes renewals more straightforward as Group Home Managers aren’t expected to remember a full year’s worth of information to report, the data and details come in as needed, and the Behavioral Plan Consultant is already involved with an updated plan, preventing unnecessary delays in the renewal process.

For members with more challenging behaviors such as ones with routine CFT/ART meetings, we do offer additional oversight and support at additional cost to our providers.

  • Yes! Many teams struggle to find the right balance of trust and process together and can end up allowing past difficulties to prevent a future-focused approach. This is especially true when members have challenging behaviors or past trauma from the system in general.

For the Members Consulting, loves working with groups and mediating challenging situations in order to help find solutions. Working with the team together on group calls, and breaking down the plan together, gives an opportunity to heal past wounds by focusing on how we want things to work moving forward.

We love seeing our members have turn arounds and help teams find harmony together. We can help group homes navigate issues around Rights Restrictions and Article 9 with guardians. We can also recommend services to help understand members better and help them get the training and support they need to live their best lives.

We want to bring teams together in support of the members directly.
