Your Questions, Answered

  • We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. We aren’t writing plans to get through the Peer Review Committee (PRC), but to help Direct Support Staff feel comfortable with each member they assist. We also offer to stay on with the team throughout the year to make sure the plans are working well for the Members and tweak them if they aren’t where they need to be..

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly, however the office is closed on Fridays.

Once your member is officially with For the Members Services, you will also be provided with the direct contact information of your Behavioral Plan Writer/PRC Consultant to answer any questions you have. They will reach out to you to discuss the process, answer questions, and gather information regarding your member from your unique viewpoint!

  • Our goal is to write the best plans we can for each member and so we talk to all of the team members to gain their insights as well as schedule group meetings to talk through and build the plan together.

Guardians are encouraged to be a part of these meetings, but we realize some guardians are too busy to attend every meeting. If guardians prefer to not be a part of each meeting, they still get to be a part of the process by providing individual information as well as reviewing the written plan and providing notes and feedback.

We also are available to attend PCSPs to keep up to date on any changes throughout the year.

We can help you navigate the Department of Developmental Disability (DDD) regulations, including Article 9, especially as it relates to things like rights restrictions, green light techniques, and recommending resources.

We are dedicated to help the entire team come together in harmony to do what is best for our Members.

  • Yes! That’s a vital part of the Behavioral Plan process. Any member we write a plan for, we schedule time to visit them at their DTA and/or Group Home to see them in their element and get to know them personally. In fact, this is one of our favorite parts of the process.

  • We recognize that a lot of times the reason Members transitioned into Group Homes is because of the constraints of the Guardian’s ability to be everywhere at once.

It is always your choice to be as involved as you’d like for team meetings, if you trust the group home, let us know and you wouldn’t be required to attend.

As your signature will still be required, a copy of any drafts and the completed plan will be sent for you to review at your own time and provide comments/feedback for. We welcome any feedback from the team as we are determined to create the best plan for the Member.
